I am a network engineer by trade and self-study, and work on Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and call managers (VoIP). I work for a defense contractor, and primarily support the U.S. Army's tactical network backbone. I have been working in the field of networking for about 4 years, and in communications systems in general for about 8 (the balance of my experience is in satellite communications systems).
I am currently a CCNA, CCNA Security, and Security+. I am working on my CCNP, specifically studying for the ROUTE exam right now. I wish I knew when I was going to sit the exam, but between an infant son and moving, I am behind my study schedule.
