Creativity is key in any industry and I express mine through technology. This is something I have honed over seven years as a web developer through freelance and contractual work, as well as academia.
People's experiences are my inspiration, they broaden my knowledge and opinion on different development procedures. As a result, my developing techniques are based around human-computer interaction. This thinking and approach enables me to develop the best user interface possible. But for me this is only half the story; this is where end-to-end development is vital. Understanding - or at least appreciating - how to complete all aspects of the design process, from initial concept generation and research, through to website prototyping and implementation is something I pride myself in.
Furthermore, I am passionate about implementation issues, and feel a great sense of achievement when an issue is solved. I thrive on finding groundbreaking and innovative solutions to challenges.
I work efficiently under pressure but my thorough project management usually means this is rarely called upon. Alongside this I work well as an individual and as part of a team, always remaining enthusiastic and reliable with excellent communication skills, and never afraid to take responsibility for any task.
