Generating rules to obtain a given categorical distribution... is it possible? That's what I'm wondering, is there any way of interpreting the distribution constraint as a cost function. By decision tree I was thinking roughly a random forest type method to run through lots of permutations of possible rules. But I may just be trying to shoehorn the problem a little too much. |

Generating rules to obtain a given categorical distribution... is it possible? 1000s, ~4,000 at the moment, will increase in the future but not by an order of magnitude. |

Generating rules to obtain a given categorical distribution... is it possible? The stability isn't really an issue as I can seed the random variable, I would prefer group A to be similar to each other. It would also be handy (but not essential) to be able to look at maybe a few different decision tree type rules and pick amongst them, for example if one makes more business sense but doesn't exactly provide the right distribution. |

Having trouble finding out what coordinate system a map is using, and how to convert it Brilliant, EPSG:29902 worked. Thanks! |

Factor analysis for categorical target variable Thanks for these, for some reason I hadn't considered this in terms of Supervised/Unsupervised learning. Got plenty to research now. Cheers! |
