comment TRIM won't turn on Samsung 256GB 840 Pro
Trim Enabler (that the author of the blog post doesn't like) worked fine for me on all 10.9 versions. But if you don't want to use it, note that 2 of the comments in the blog post suggest that the instructions don't work on 10.9.5 for other people too. Note also the comment below one of the 10.9.5 comments about rebooting twice, that could help.

revised How do I recompile Bash to avoid Shellshock (the remote exploit CVE-2014-6271 and CVE-2014-7169)?
The 4.3.28 error was fixed by the Macports bash developer, removed the note mentioning that error

revised How do I recompile Bash to avoid Shellshock (the remote exploit CVE-2014-6271 and CVE-2014-7169)?
The edit wasn't simple version update; it mentioned that the current version is corrupted on Macports and the suggestions would only work after 4.3.28 is fixed

comment "Syncing" mail adress which is handled by several people
This is not an email issue at all. What you need is some kind of helpdesk software with ability to receive tickets by email. It would allow whoever sees the ticket first to claim it, so the other person would know that the first is working on it. Also it allows both people to respond at different stages, e.g. the response of the original ticket could come from the first person, then if a follow-up question comes, the second could reply etc. (Sorry, can't recommend any particular helpdesk software as I have no extensive experience with any of them).

comment Mac OS X and VPN Option all traffic over vpn
My guess is that there may be timeout issue that is getting fixed by restarting the machine. Have you tried disconnecting and connecting the VPN rather than restarting the machine? You may also try to enable verbose logging, and see what it says. As for what exactly "Send all traffic over VPN" does, I am not sure, but according to an answer here: apple.stackexchange.com/questions/39290/… it may depend on the VPN server settings.

What you are looking for is called split tunnel. Here are some old threads with info that may work on Mavericks too: superuser.com/questions/4904/… and stackoverflow.com/questions/3703849/…
