Code. UX. Databases. Leadership. Agile done right (for some value of right). Videogames, adventures, good food. Sometimes I write books (some people like 'em and some people don't -- that's cool, no worries).

comment Mobile application: Let the user first to choose camera or gallery or open camera first?
Could you clarify which of the two functions you initially list is actually the main function? Or, is there indeed no "primary" function? If there is no primary function, and you see many other apps offer users the choice, what about your users/tests is leading you to try to pick one or the other as the "right" way?

comment How to deal tasks that are probably not user stories but still need to get done?
This answer matches what I was going to write. Our backlog contains many developer-only issues that get prioritized like anything else in the sprint, so that we do not have a bunch of technical debt floating around. Some of these are written by the dev team as they see fit to add them, and some are written by me as they get mentioned. If there's an internal need for everything to be a formal story, then try using "the system" as a user... (I'm not a big fan of story format for its own sake).

Are you locked into accomplishing i18n and l10n via database changes only, or are you able to take advantage of i18n & l10n via other aspects of your application framework (e.g. POT files, YAML files, other appropriate methods, etc)?
