Thanks for the info. But it still doesn't serves the purpose as i am unable to set my custom map as view in it. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

I tried putting handler.sendEmptyMessage(0); , but it doesn't works. What cen be other ways to refresh the data in the view if we leave handler aside.
