comment Can a Macbook 4,1 use 64bit architecture?
From another page, I get that I have a 64bit processor, but not a 64bit kernel. According to this answer on Superuser, the issue may be 32bit drivers preventing me from using a 64bit kernel.

I don't think this is suitable as an answer, but it might still be helpful: youtu.be/r5hFE5xiQ3A

"C'est l'une de quelques personnes à faire ceci" would work as well, or orner synonyms for "rare".

"Désolé" is also often used, at least in Quebec province.

I've only ever seen teenagers & movie characters use "bandante", though. (Not so adult after all :P)

comment Thermometer reading
Mercury is about as compressible as water, or any Newtonian fluid: not enough to see a difference near room temperature and pressure. Mercury is also opaque, so we cannot see the meniscus' shape. If the center of the meniscus is lowered by an increase in pressure, what we'll see is a raise in the visible mercury level.
