I've been teaching myself about computers since I was ten. I like low level programming and hardware along with learning about the underlying concepts and theory of computing.
I have dealt with C on and off for years, but recently I started learning C++. I have some experience with Assembly(nasm), Prolog(swi), and Haskell.
However, a lot of my knowledge is still only in the theoretical realm and I'm still pushing myself to learn and perform.
My previous interests have resulted in IRC bots, ANNs, and NLP (Not to mention half-baked parsers, compilers, OSes, and so forth). Now I'm practicing with OpenGL graphics programming to get to the meat of some fun algorithms. (pathfinding, evolutionary and "socio-centric" [mob interaction] AI, etc)
My electronics background involves quite a few hobby projects on several arduino and I have spent a lot of time building a motherboard for dual Z80s.
Also, I'm an Arch Linux junkie.... >_>
