Actually the solution posted by Arpit works flawlessly, I tweaked it a little and was able to send the file in JSON format to the same server. Thanks again for all your help. I request all the experienced coders to give a chance to newbies and don't rush to those -1s :)

comment BigDecimal to string conversion adds a zero before decimal point
I have come to the conclusion that this can't be done using any formatting or using a function of Bigdecimal class. Only way I could find is to print out the original string. Still waiting for an answer though.
