I've been programming since Apple ][ Basic in 1981. Bought my first Mac in 1985 and programmed Macs for 10 years. Used MacApp 2.0 in Object Pascal, then 3.0 in C++. Switched to Windows after Scully trashed Apple. Learned to hate Microsoft (especially MFC, what a piece of crap) with new passion (except for Visual C++ which was really good). Then switched back to Macs a few years back after I got tired of dealing with Malware and viruses. Programming in Cocoa was quite an improvement. MFC was like programming in the dark ages.
Currently working on large-scale open-source web infrastructure. Web programming is totally broken. Way too hard to do anything complex at scale. The tools suck.
