Anyway, I have also tried to chmod 777 both the file and the pgsources folder it's in. Still no luck.

Thanks for trying to help but please read my question again. An unconditional redirection on a single page is not my intention. I want a conditional redirection (request URL contains ip) to the same URL with the domain instead. I want it to work for any page requested (even those that do not exist) and if possible I want to configure it on tomcat without touching or adding anything to my webapp (in a similar way apache does).
