@Sparx : yeah looks like they integrated into Google Now, then for some reason, took it out again in the latest version. The Search From Camera feature seem a bit intrusive to me. I would only want to send google images if I explicitly want to use them in a search.

just installed it. Ah ok, well it still doesn't have it in Google Now but Google Goggles pretty much does that. That's kind of annoying, that they would take that feature and put it into its own app instead of having it integrated into Google Now

Hi, thanks for the quick response. Ah didnt' realize APK was compressed - it just seemed a bit inefficient that was all when I was doing my research on it that Android didn't just let you put a db file in, instead making you copy to another location on install. I might try solution 3 a bit later, but like I said new at all this, it just seems a bit daunting to do right now. But I'll look into Amazon s3 - didn't realize there were so many free services out there.
